Arthritic pain treatment

Arthritic pain treatment

If pain is the most common and troublesome symptom of arthritis, fatigue runs a close second. Often the two are closely related. Dealing with pain day to day can wear you down and cause fatigue. Fatigue in turn, can worsen pain and make it more difficult to manage.

All the experts emphasise that chronic pain is a complex disease requiring an integrated, interdisciplinary approach. They routinely use various combinations of drug-based, gentle mobilisation and manipulation and as a last resort joint interventional approach. Most of our patients simply want to remain mobile, and pain free!

Whatever the cause, the pain is usually quite restricting. Treatment should be sought ASAP.
