Keith Openshaw is a HPC registered and Chartered Physiotherapist.
Keith was the Physiotherapy Manager at the Fitzwilliam Hospital in Peterborough for over 10 years, during which time he was also the Lead Physiotherapist for Ramsay Health Care UK.
Keith brings a broad depth of knowledge to the practice, having a long and interesting career spanning, uniquely, both the NHS and Private Health Sectors.
Some of the posts he has held were Lead Physiotherapist and Clinical Governance Manager for Boots PLC, manager of the Centre for Clinical Exercise in London, Physiotherapist for Oldham Rugby League.
He is amongst other things a qualified Acupuncturist, with many qualifications in manual therapy.
Having been the Manager of the Fitzwilliam Hospital Physiotherapy department, he has had a very close relationship with both the consultants and the referring GPs.
As part of his clinical duties at the Fitzwilliam he consulted on the setup of the Triage service working as part of this for several years in an Extended Scope capacity, able to screen patients for serious pathology and refer for imaging and is able to deal with musculoskeletal injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.
